A woefully belated thanks for the wonderful holiday favor from you and your son - I did get the spikes and they are a perfect match!
Meanwhile, I have a little story for you. In our last exchange, when I was asking about the spikes and the Trishnas vs the Maargas, you remarked that the only reason to get the Maargas was that they were "better than the Trishnas in every way." Well, suffice it to say this got me to obsessing a bit, and I ended up reaching out to your old customer Jin Lee, who sold me the Trishnas a couple years back. I knew he had the Maargas, and figured I'd plant a seed in his head that, should he ever decide to part with the Maargas, he knows who to call. Well, he ended up calling very quickly indeed! He went and nabbed a pair of Saadhanas, so we've all moved one chair to the right!
I hooked up the Maargas last weekend and I must say they are as billed. I told my wife if I could have any speaker in the world this would be it and I'll not be wanting for at least another 5 or 10 years. It's true! I've never felt this way about a speaker before. And guess what? The wife loves them too! She was skeptical about spending the extra money on this upgrade, but as soon as I fired them up there was a big smile on her face too - priceless, I'm sure you can appreciate. I am truly amazed that your speakers haven't gained more traction with the general public. They so richly deserve it. At any rate, I posted my Trishnas for sale this weekend, describing my feelings about them, and they seem to be getting a fair amount of interest. I would love it if my ad could help get the word out just a little.
Anyway, that's it for now. Just wanted to let you know you've got a very happy customer in NYC. Oh, and I almost forgot - I seem to have misplaced the screws that bind the outriggers to the bottom of the Trishnas and need to get some replacements quick - do you have the spec on those screws? They're easy to get at my local hardware store, I'm hoping....
